Ty Beanie Babies Nuts the Squirrel

Ty Beanie Babies Nuts the Squirrel
Nuts the Squirrel is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed just for you. He was born January 21, 1996, and his poem reads:
With his bushy tail, he'll scamper up a tree
The most cheerful critter you'll ever see,
He's nuts about nuts, and he loves to chat
Have you ever seen a squirrel like that?
Nuts is sitting up on his haunches ready for you to give him a treat. He has a brown body with a cream-colored underbelly and inner ears. Black button eyes and a triangular black button nose with brown thread whiskers decorate his eager face. Behind him is his pride and joy: a big beautiful bushy tail. Surface wash only. --Peggy Etra

Ty Beanie Babies Zero the Holiday Penguin

Ty Beanie Babies Zero the Holiday Penguin
This Zero is a 10. His poem reads:
Penguins love the ice and snow
Playing in weather twenty below
Antarctica is where I love to be
Splashing in the cold, cold sea!
Zero, born January 2, 1998, is all dressed up and ready to go to your house. This flightless bird was released for a limited time and is now retired, making him highly desirable. His body is done in traditional black and white; a splash of yellow under his bright orange beak is a real eye-catcher. Atop Zero's head sits a red and white stocking cap with white pom-pom, and bright orange feet complete our cold-weather friend. Surface wash only. --Peggy Etra

Ty Beanie Babies Weenie the Dog

Ty Beanie Babies Weenie the Dog
Ty is known for their cuddly and realistic-looking stuffed animals, and this golden brown wiener dog is no exception. Weenie has soft brown ears, a realistic black nose, and big brown eyes that gaze out from its friendly face. This puppy stands 8 inches tall on short bean-filled legs, measures 14 inches long from nose to tail, and about 4 inches across its plush body. Beanie Buddies are hot, so you'd better adopt this darling puppy quickly. --Tami Horiuchi

Ty Beanie Buddies Happy the Hippo

Ty Beanie Buddies Happy the Hippo
Not to be confused with Happy the Beanie Baby, this winsome Hippo Beanie Buddy is larger and lavender, but just as charming. Covered in silky-soft velour fur with a beanbag filling, Happy is a limp, loose armful of snuggly warmth. He measures 14 inches long from snout to tail and is surface washable. --Marianne Painter

Ty Beanie Buddies Bronty the Dinosaur

Ty Beanie Buddies Bronty the Dinosaur
Bronty the Brontosaurus Beanie Buddy has bold blue-green fur, beady black eyes, and a brave expression on his bright little face. His plush fur is an interesting combination of mottled deep blues and greens, providing camouflage so he can hide in the trees when those mean Brontosaurus-eating dinosaurs are on the prowl. Bronty has velvet pads on his feet and bean-filled legs, so he can stand up by himself along with the help of his long tail. His soft, cuddly body will certainly please dinosaur devotees--who will know that the Brontosaurus is now called Apatosaurus--but never mind... Bronty likes his name just the way it is. --Marcie Bovetz

Anything at all makes a fine meal!
This billy goat is anything but gruff. Goatee was born November 4, 1998. She arrives lying down, possibly because she's full from eating so much. He plays in mud--he never forgets
Give him some peanuts; he'll be your pet!

Sitting on his haunches with his trunk in the air, Trumpet is a playful little pachyderm who looks like a prankster. His merry black eyes twinkle as a smile plays tug-of-war with the corners of his pink mouth--he's just waiting to laugh at life's next joke. His baby-soft velour coat is slate gray with a hint of cocoa; his ear linings and furry embroidered footpads are the color of cream. Trumpet appears to be an elephant of the African variety, with a rounded forehead and ears that tend toward the triangular. He was born on February 11, 2000. He's a mischievous-looking mite who'd be lucky to get the topmost branches off a Bonsai tree. But we're sure he won't lack for snacks, not with that perky proboscis. Keep a sharp eye on your peanut butter cookies. --Julie Ubben
