The obvious and prime attraction to any bubbly is the bubbles. This glass is known as 416/48 to Riedel loyalists; at the interior bottom of its weighty, languidly curved bowl lies a small crystal pinhole. This etched "fizz mark" provides a rough surface on which the beads form, rising to the surface in a steady stream through the center of the liquid.
